Owen was born at 6:51 in the morning. The environment at the hospital was very interesting because right as he came out, all of the delivery and nursey nurses were changing staff. Sometimes we think they were cheering me on so well in delivery process just so that Owen would be born before the end of their shift! In all, Owen's delivery went really well and we went home the next day.
Here is a picture of Owen going home from the hospital. When we put him in his car seat we could not believe how tiny he looked. The next couple of days were a little stressful. We had to go to the doctor everyday for the rest of that week and weekend because Owen was jaundiced and losing too much weight due to my delayed milk supply. In the end, everything worked out great and we did not have to go back to the doctor again until his two week check-up.
Here is a picture of Owen's first Aggie game when he was less than a week old. As parents, we only wish the best for our child (and that means attending Texas A&M one day).
These pictures were taken when Owen was around 4 weeks old. Brian's sister came to visit and she took a ton of really nice pictures for us.Owen's First documented social smile. He is such a charmer!
Thanks for looking at our blog! Happy Holidays!
